Student to Studio Artist

This will be the first of a series of posts chronicling a portion of my work created during my time of study under Juliette Aristides (http://www.aristidesarts.com/) in her classical atelier at Gage Academy in Seattle, WA. One of my goals with this blog is to display the awkward and exciting progression from student to studio artist. I hope this can be an inspiration to you!

The above image is a master copy after Jean Baptiste Greuze [1725-1805]. Please note that while I did most of the work on these academic pieces, Juliette did indeed have a hand in their development. She would do this always for the sake of instruction. These were often the times when a light would go on in my head too.
